Please plan to join us on Sunday, September 10, 2023. We'll have Bible study and Sunday school at 9:00am, introducing our plans for fall for both of these groups. After our 10:00am worship service, we'll share in a "Fall Kick-Off Meal." This will include a grill-out and potluck. Hamburgers, hotdogs, condiments and buns will be provided. Attendees are asked to bring something to share for the meal. We look forward to growing in Christ with you this fall at St. Matthew!

"Ministry Clarity" Strategic Planning: Thursday, August 10 at 6:30pm. Meet in the Fellowship Hall at church or contact pastor for the Zoom link. Ministry Clarity is a congregational planning process facilitated by the Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF).

Outreach Committee: Brenda Roisen, our new chairperson for Outreach, has scheduled a meeting on Saturday, August 12 from 2-4pm. Any interested members are welcome to attend. Please contact the church office for meeting location and details.

Property Discussion: Sunday, August 13 after the worship service. All members who are interested in our property upkeep are welcome to attend and share in the discussion. Following the unexpected death of our property chairman, Scott, we would like to begin forming a new Property Committee of several members to oversee the maintenance of the building and grounds as we go forward. 

The first draft of our new church pictorial directory is available in the church entryway. Please stop and take a look at it on an upcoming Sunday. Please check to make sure your contact information is current and that your birthday and anniversary (if applicable) are listed correctly. Our sister congregation in Conway, Peace Lutheran (at 800 S. Donaghey Ave.), invites families to participate in Vacation Bible School from Mon, July 17 - Weds, July 19. Our study of Acts concluded on Weds, June 14. We will be taking a summer pause from Wednesday Bible Study for approximately two months. Studies will resume on Wednesday, August 23 at 10:00 AM. Our next study topic will be the Old Testament Prophet, Isaiah. Please plan to join us on Wednesdays this fall! All members & friends are welcome to join us as we grow in God's Word.
