St. Matthew's Church Council has called a congregational forum to discuss expanding our facility. This will be held in the sanctuary after the service on Sunday, April 12, 2026. A specific proposal for a classroom addition will be shared along with a preliminary theme for a capital campaign. Both members and friends of the congregation are encouraged to attend, learn more, and offer their ideas and questions. Thank you!

Palm Sunday, March 29 - 10:00 AM Divine Service
Holy Thursday, April 2 - 6:30 PM Divine Service
Good Friday, April 3 - 6:30 PM Tenebrae Service
Easter Sunday, April 5 - 8:00 & 10:30 AM Divine Services
Additional Details: On Palm Sunday we remember Jesus' entrance into Jerusalem just days before His death on the cross. This service will also include the rite of membership for several new members. An Easter egg hunt will follow the service for young children in attendance.
On Holy Thursday (also known as "Maundy Thursday"), we remember Jesus' Last Supper, His institution of Holy Communion, and the events that led to His crucifixion the next day on Good Friday. This service will culminate with the Lord's Supper and will close with the stripping of the altar, a preparation for Good Friday.
On Good Friday, we gather for the Tenebrae service. "Tenebrae" refers to the darkness of Good Friday as Jesus suffered in both literal and spiritual darkness. This somber service will close with a remembrance of Jesus' final words from the cross.
On Easter Sunday we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus. Both of our Easter Services will feature the same order of service so that you can attend at whatever time suits you best. An Easter Breakfast will also be served in between the services. Please join us!
