Pastor Kory will be offering an adult instruction class on Sunday nights this fall beginning on Sunday, October 11 at 6:00 PM. The subject matter of this class will be the core beliefs of the Lutheran Church as summarized in such statements of faith as Martin Luther's Small Catechism. This class is open to all who are interested, including those seeking membership at St. Matthew, those who are curious about what Lutherans believe, church members who would like a "refresher course," college students, and more. Please contact the church office if you are interested or have questions. A sign up sheet for attendees is available in the church entryway.

Please plan to join us at St. Matthew on Sunday, October 4, 2026. For our 10am service we are encouraging members to invite a friend, family member, or neighbor to attend church with you. Then, following the service, we'll share in a potluck meal and grill-out. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided. Members are encouraged to contribute condiments, side dishes, desserts, and drinks for the meal. A sign up is available in the church entryway. We look forward to seeing you on Oct. 4!

Camp Trinity, the Lutheran Camp on Petit Jean Mountain, will once again host its annual Music on the Mountain event on Saturday, September 26. No charge to attend. Concessions will be available for lunch. Music will begin at 11 AM and continue through mid afternoon. A variety of musical styles will be featured. Come and enjoy a fun day on Petit Jean Mountain on Sept 26th!

Lutheran Church Charities, most known for its comfort dog ministry and hearts of mercy and compassion (which are often provided after various national and local tragedies) is bringing a valuable training workshop to Conway on Friday, September 11 (6-9 pm) and Saturday, September 12 (9 am - 4 pm). A light dinner will be provided Friday as well as lunch and snacks on Saturday.
