Thank you to all those who joined us for a memorable celebration of St. Matthew's first 25 years this past Sunday, May 21, 2023. It was a blessing to worship together and enjoy fellowship for this joyous occasion. We especially thank all those who were involved in the service musically, those who contributed to and served the meal, those who traveled to be with us (including Pastors McMillian, Ave-Lallemant, and Hefta), those who contributed photos for the slideshow, and everyone who helped make it a great day! May God grant our congregation many more years to serve Him, our neighbors, and one another in Christ Jesus.

Here is an overview of our 25th Anniversary Celebration for May 21, 2023:

• Abbreviated Bible Study and Sunday School at 9:00am
• Service of thanksgiving at 10:00am with the theme, "The Church's One Foundation Is Jesus Christ Her Lord"
• A door offering will be collected for Camp Trinity in recognition of their 40th anniversary on the same day
• Meal following the service
• Program during the meal featuring a church history presentation by Ken Barnes and greetings from former pastors, including Pastor Ric and Pastor Pete
• Yard games and informal fellowship to follow the program (weather permitting)

We hope to see you on the 21st!

Please join us on Sunday, May 14, 2023 as we welcome several new members to St. Matthew as part of our 10:00am worship service. Following the service, we will share refreshments and conversation in the Fellowship Hall. We hope to see you on the 14th as we give thanks for all the mothers and ladies in our midst and bid a warm welcome to these new members. 

Below is a full list of food items that can be donated to the Bear Pantry at any time.  (Please remember to purchase canned goods with pull tops.)  Items Needed: Peanut Butter/Jelly, Tuna/Canned Meat, Ravioli, Ready to Eat Soup, Cereal Bars/Pop Tarts/Honey Buns, Instant Oats, Protein Bars, Canned Fruit/Applesauce, Ramen Noodles, Knorr’s Quick Rice, Mac and Cheese, Pasta/Sauce, Crackers, & Bread. If you'd like to drop off your donations at church, you can place them in the box marked for the Bear Pantry in the church Fellowship Hall. Thank you!

We will soon be developing a new church pictorial directory using Instant Church Directory online. This will be available to our members in three forms: over the internet, as a smartphone app, and in printable form. At this point, you can assist by submitting a recent photo of your household (either digital or hard copy) to be included in your directory entry.
