St. Matthew will have Advent services of Evening Prayer on Wednesdays, December 2, 9, and 16 at 6:30pm. Each service will begin with a brief Advent/Christmas hymn sing, with attendees selecting their favorite hymns. Our Advent services this year will focus on Jesus as both Son of God and Son of Man, specifically the Son of Adam and Eve, the Son of Israel, and the Son of David. Then, in our Christmas Candlelight Services on Dec. 23rd (3:00pm) & 24th (6:30pm), we'll consider Jesus as the Son of Mary. And finally, on Christmas Day (10:00am), we'll celebrate Jesus as the Son of God.

The Wednesday Advent services on Dec. 2nd-16th will be preceded by a light meal each week at 5:30pm with various soups, bread, desserts, and drinks.

Please plan to join us both for our Advent services and the pre-service soup suppers!
